//History

Brett is the only daughter of a runaway Kilian noble and a successful Korin merchant who had met and eventually married in Kanemoria. Being raised there gave her quite a different perspective on life than her parents. While they always had enough money, and had successful business in the trading industry, Brett couldn't understand why her parents never actually seemed ... happy. Sure, she was happy; she was a bright girl, quick to learn, quick to ask questions, quick to go outside as soon as her lessons were done with and play with the other children, quick to make sure that she enjoyed her life.

Unlike her parents. Her father, successful as he was with the business, also had quite the success with hitting the bottle. Her mother often would talk about her homeland, describing how cool and clean it was, when compared to the dirt and the grime and the mud of some of Kanemoria's cities, and even more annoyingly, lapse into Kilian the other half of the time. But whenever someone would ask her about what she had left behind, or why she left, she would change the subject abruptly. Brett was always rather curious, though at the same time, didn't think that her mother made any sense. Regardless she loved them anyway, just thought they were both strange. Eventually they moved to a permanent residence in the city of Rechesa when her younger brother was born, which was by far one of the nicer cities to live and grow.

With the business sense she learned from her father under her belt, the experience with magic learned from her mother, as well as the money earned from their trade, Brett decided to take up traveling when she turned 18 years old, to her parents' dismay, meeting up with other merchants who needed assistance, never really staying too long with a particular group, but always wanting to find a place to belong to, regardless.

It was during this time that she traveled to Atsiria with one group, and met and had a fling with a Nomad who was estranged from his tribe. Staying in that country was painful (considering her heritage, she was prone to many painful sunburns), but worth it for the romance, at least at first, though unfortunately in the end he chose to go back to his tribe, leaving her somewhat heartbroken and on her own for a few months. The last caravan she traveled with left her in Feldri for the longest time, and she's ready for a change of pace.



//personality

Brett is bright, business savvy, and upbeat. Or at least she tries to be most of the time; sometimes moodswings cannot be helped, and she certainly is prone to get them just like every other woman, and when they come she is certainly quite moody. She learned a lot about business from her father and fellow caravaners throughout the years, and likes using any means necessary to receive (and give) good deals on trades. Sometimes she forgets to hold her tongue when she forms an opinion, though lately she's been teaching herself to think first and make a snide remark later.

While she loves her work, she also loves having fun, having a bit of an adventurous spirit. If she's not having her quota of fun for the day or the week, she will not be happy about it, though will try to find ways to improve the situation rather than lapsing into a bad mood. She can't stand it when people are in negative moods around her, and she hates it when her own heightened mood is forced to be lowered because of pessisism. Though she isn't an optimist by any means, at least not completely, though she'd prefer that to the alternative, really.

Overall she can have her really sweet moments, and her not-so-sweet moments. She figures that she's human and therefore she has a right to not be perfect.



//appearance

Brett has straight blue hair that is currently short. As much as she loves to be outdoors, her skin is always pale, unless she is suffering from a sunburn, which is quite frustrating when it does occur. Her eyes are wide and blue as well, and she usually has a cheerful expression. She is 5'4 in height, and her clothing varies depending on the situation. Usually she's well dressed, though sometimes she's in more comfortable clothes.
